A SOC 2 Type 2 audit is an independent, third-party assessment of an organization's controls over a defined review period. Conducted in accordance with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Trust Services Criteria, the audit evaluates relevant controls supporting security, availability, processing integrity, and confidentiality.
